That’s me!

I am a nurse, a mushroom foraging, water-loving human, and kindred spirit (to my dog).

I have always painted to help myself understand and cope with my internal experience. As I spent more time nursing on a trauma unit, art began to take on a new meaning in my life. Over the past few years, my understanding of art has developed in tandem with my perception of human health - both have taken on a more holistic and integrated meaning in my mind.

My paintings represent plants, animals, biology, pleasant lighting, and the human experience.
